Everest Gokyo Lake Trek
This is one of the most popular and adventurous trekking regions in Nepal. The region has not only the highest mountain in the world, but has rich culture heritage & picturesque natural scenery. It is one of the best sections for viewing snowy mountains including Choyo, Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nutpse and Makalu. Similarly, on the trail, also, one can have a view of Thamserku, Amadablam, Khumbila, Kwande, Pumari and more other silvery mountains. This trek is to be considered as an alternative trek to the traditional Everest base camp. Fly in and fly out from Lukla will be convenient to visitors.
Everest Gokyo Lake Trek Itinerary - 15 days
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Airport Pickup. Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing. Shopping and Briefing Day
Day 03: Flight Kathmandu to Lukla, we then take an easy walk to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m.).
Day 05: Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization and excursion around the places.
Day 06: Namche Bazar to Dole. O/N Dole.
Day 07: Dole to Machhermo. O/N Machhermo.
Day 08: Machhermo to Gokyo. O/N Gokyo
Day 09: Gokyo to Gokyo Ri (5483m) and back to Gokyo. O/N Gokyo.
Day 10: Gokyo to Machhermo. O/N Machhermo.
Day 11: Machhermo to Namche Bazar. O/N Namche Bazar.
Day 12: Namche Bazar to Lukla. O/N Lukla.
Day 13: Lukla- Kathmandu.
Day 14: Kathmandu Rest Day
Day 15: Departure
