Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek
Kanchenjunga (8585 m.), is the third highest mountain in the world. Your journey to this remote area begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar in the east of Nepal, followed by a drive to Basantapur (2220 m,) from where you head north to the villages of Chauki (2700 m), Gorja Gaon (2000 m), Amjilasa (2490 m), Ghunsa (3340 m), Khambachen (4040 m) and Lhonak (4790 m) to Pangpema (5140 m.) which also serves as the Base Camp for expeditions attempting the North Face of Kanchenjunga and the culmination of the first part of the trek. Kanchenjunga is open for foreigners to explore only since 1988. Nothing can be bought along the way. Supplies at the trailhead are likely to be limited. Only organised and escorted groups can make to Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek. The best trekking seasons are March-April and October- November. There is a flight to Taplejung from Kathmandu and Biratnager but it has to be booked early.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing around of the Kathmandu valley.

Day 04: Trek to Chhirwa
Day 05: Trek Chirwa to Shekathum . Camp Day
Day 06: Shekathum to Amjilhasa . Camp
Day 07: Trek Amjilhasa to Gepla . Camp Day
Day 08: Trek Gepla to Gunsa. Camp
Day 09: Rest / Exploration day in Gunsa. Camp
Day 10: Gunsa to Khambachen. Camp
Day 11: Khambachen to Lhonak. Camp
Day 12: Trek Lhonak to Kangchenjungha Base Camp. Camp
Day 13: Trek Pang Pema to Khambachen. Camp
Day 14: Trek Khambachen to Shibuwa Khola Valley. Camp
Day 15: Trek to Ramche. Camp
Day 16: Trek Ramche to Tseram. Camp
Day 17: Trek Tseram to Lamite Bhanjyang. Camp Day
Day 18: Trek Lamite Bhanjynang to Mamakhe.
Day 19: Trek Mamakhe to Keshwa.
Day 20: Trek Keshwa to Taplejung Airport.
Day 21: Flight: Taplejung - Kathmandu. Hotel Overnight.
Day 22: Free day to explore, and enjoy Kathmandu. Hotel Overnight.
Day 23: Final Departure.
