Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek

Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu trek is recommended for those who seek to explore the Cultural area of Helambu, with close view of beautiful glacier to the top of small peaks, which do not require any climbing gears and experience. This trek also offers an excellent opportunity to cross a little high pass (4600 m) of Gosainkunda as well beautiful views of several lakes and view points.

The Langtang Valley is located only 19 miles North of Kathmandu. The Langtang valley is also known as the valley of glaciers. The area is strongly influenced by its proximity to the border of Tibet. The valley is dominated by Langtang Lirung (7246m / 23,730ft), the highest peak in the area. This is a superb introduction to trekking, among some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole of Nepal. And for the climber, Yala Peak (5500m/18,045ft) and Naya Kanga (5846m / 19,180ft) offer a wonderful introduction to mountaineering in the Himalaya. The trek back to Sundarjal up to Hindu holy lakes and pilgrimage site of Gosaikund. This mountain journey ends with a shuttle ride back to your hotel accommodations in Kathmandu.

Day 06: Lama Hotel – Langtang Valley

Day 07: Langtang Village – Kyangjing Gompa

Day 08: Kyangjing Gompa – Ghora Tabela

Day 09: Ghore Tabala - Syabrugaun

Day 10: Syabrugaun – Sing Gompa

Day 11: Sing Gimpa – Gosainkunda

Day 12: Gosainkunda – Ghopte

Day 13: Ghopte- Tharepati

Day 14: Tharepati- Melamchi Goun

Day 15: Melamchi Goun- Gangjwal

Day 16: Gangjwal –Kakani

Day 17: Kakani- Melamchi- Kathmandu
