MERA PEAK (6421m.)

Mera peak 6421m. is considered one of the major and popular trekking peaks in Nepal. Mera Peak itself rises to the south of Everest. Although technically an easy climb, it is, however, a real challenge to reach the summit of Nepal’s highest Trekking Peak The ascent of the peak is technically straight forward, however, the heavy snow and the maze of crevasses can make the way longer to the summit. Mera Peak trek and climbing servers a gate way for high altitude trekking to go over Amphulaptcha Pass or Mingbo La and also for climbing on Baruntse, Chamlang and other Himalayas climbing.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Meet & transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel. Day 02: ½ day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. O/N Hotel. Day 03: Fly Kathmandu / Lukla. O/N Camp. Day 04: Trek to Chhutanga. O/N Camp. Day 05: Rest day at Chhutanga for acclimatization. O/N Camp. Day 06: Trek to Tuli Kharka. O/N Camp. Day 07: Trek to Mousum Kharka. O/N Camp. Day 08: Trek to Tagnag. O/N Camp. Day 09: Rest and acclimatization day at Tagnag. O/N Camp. Day 10: Trek to Khare. O/N Camp. Day 11: Rest day at Khare for preparation. O/N Camp. Day 12: Trek to Mera high camp. O/N Camp. Day 13: Climb Mera Peak and return to Khare. O/N Camp. Day 14: Spare day for climbing in case of bad weather. O/N Camp. Day 15: Return trek to Mousum Kharka. O/N Camp. Day 16: Rest and acclimatization day at Tagnag. O/N Camp. Day 17: Trek to Tuli Kharka. O/N Camp. Day18: Trek to Lukla. O/N Camp. Day 19: Fly Lukla / Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel.
