Makalu Barun Base Camp
Makalu Barun Base Camp is one of the most beautiful, wilderness
and strong trek in Nepal. From Tumlingtar by walking north, up
the Arun river, Sedwa and Num, crossing Shipton La (4127m) into
upper Barun Khola valley for a close look at Makalu(8475 m) and
chamlang (7290 m). Trekkers will enjoy the exploration of people
along the route as well as the natural challenges in this trek.
You will have an interaction with the Sherpas, Tamangs and Rai.
The trek passes with the spectacular view of Himalayas: Makalu,
Kanchenjungha, Mt. Everest, Barutse Lhotse and many more. This
trek is considered as the most challenging trek of eastern Nepal.
